        Benjamin Hance (1692-1773) was born in 1992 in Calvert, Maryland to the parents of
        John and Mary Ann Hance. Benjamin married Mary Hutchins (1694-1751), also from Calvert,
        on July 28, 1711. Benjamin and Mary Ann had four children: Benjamin (1715-1748), Joseph
        (1716-1776), Mary (1718-1786), and Elizabeth (1720-1775). Benjamin and Mary Ann remained in Calvert their entire life. He died in 1773 at the age of 81, and Mary died in July 1751 at the
        age of 57.
