My Family Tree

Dear Kevin:

I am writing to confirm that the information we had exchanged earlier
regarding Arthur J. Cruise.

From her obituary: Mrs. Adelaide M. Short Cruise...b. March 10 19=889 in
Joliet....surviving are her husband Arthur J. Cruise a Daughter Dorothy
M[ae] and a son George in service, somewhere in England" (WWII)

Also mentioned are one brother, "Arthur Short" and two sisters, Mrs. Cora
Fields and Mrs Florence Keupe.

Arthur J. Cruise is the son of Arthur and Mary (Martin) Cruise, my
gr-grandparents.

Arthur dec'd some years later. His obituary mentions dau. Dorothy Mae,
(who dec'd in the 1990's in a most tragic house fire). Also mentions son
George and grandson Lee.

George Cruise, Arthur J's and Adelaide's son, married Amelia Batura. He
dec'd at Du Page Co., IL. I am still trying to find their son, Lee and or
descendants.
