        William Hardesty (1694-1759) was born in Calvert, Maryland in 1694 and married
        Priscilla Lawrence (1715-1772) in 1732. She was 17 years old and he was 36. Benjamin
        Hardesty (1735-1817) was the first of their seven children. William died on February 17, 1759
        and Priscilla died in 1772. They were buried in the Halis Reserve Plantation in Calvert.
