Obituary Chris Stukey pioneer resident of Steamboat Springs, died at St. Lukes , hospital in Denver. Uremic poisoning was the immediate cause of his death, but he had not been well for a long time. He had been at the hospital for ab out two weeks. Mrs. Stukey had accompanied him to Dener, He is survivied by hi s wife, Edna, and four children, David of Highland APark, Ill., Mrs. Leona Tuc ker of Angola, Africa, Mrs. Glessner Gallinger andMrs. Vivieine Tavennor of Pa sadena Calif.: Three brothers, KDaniel and Ira of Steamboat Springs, and Alvi n of Prescott, Ariz.; one sister, mRSsNODGRASS OF eLDORADO Springs, Mo. and se vern grandchildren, He was one of a family of eleven children, six of whom pre ceded him in death. His son, David and his brother, Alvin, came to Steamboat f or the funeral services, which were conducted at the Congregational Church Sun day afternoon. Mrs. Tucker has been in Steamboat for several months, on a fu rlough from her missionary work in Africa. Rev R.A. Dodd was in charge of the s ervice. The tezt of his compforting sermon was II Tim. 4:7, I faught a good f ight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith." Clarence pATTERSON WAS PIANIST. He lived in Steamboat Springs and he worked for five years in ope ration of a flour mill. Most of the time he was in the lumber business. He w as one of the oldest in point of membership in the local Congregational Churc h joining in 1900. He will be missed by all in the church, he was a trustee a nd held various offices. He will be missed in the town because he was a good citizen.
